Application Guidelines

The Graduate School of Global Food Resources is accepting applications for the Master’s Course only starting in April.

There are two types of entrance exams. The types of the exams are as follows:

  • Entrance exam (General category)

The exam is held twice a year (first- and second-term entrance exams). The first-term exam is held in summer (around August), and the second-term exam is conducted in winter (around February). If the number of students to be admitted as a result of the first-term exam reaches the admission limit, the second-term exam may not be conducted.

  • Entrance exam for international students (nationals of countries other than Japan)

The exam is held once a year (first-term exam only). The first-term exam is held in autumn (around October).

2018 Enrollment (Second-Term Exam) *Application period is over.

The application guidelines of general category are available at the address below.
If you request the guidelines by mail, send an envelope with “Request for the application guidelines for the Master’s Course of the Graduate School of Global Food Resources” written in red ink on the envelope to the address below. The envelope should contain a self-addressed stamped envelope (24 cm × 33.2 cm; be sure to write your zip code, address and name, and use stamps to the value of 205 yen for standard mail or 485 yen if you would like express mail).
