Report presentation for the 2024 Wandervogel Study II

Announcements

On Wednesday 2 April 2025, following the entrance ceremony, a report presentation was held for the 2024 Wandervogel Study II(WVII).

Fourteen students participated in the 2024 WV II, spending 11 days from 18 to 27 February 2025 visiting shrimp farms in Vietnamese paddy fields, estuary weirs and mango farms. With the full cooperation of Can Tho University, they were also able to engage in lively exchanges with thier students.

At the report presentation, the WV II participants summarised the outcomes of their fieldwork and presented them in English. The presentations provided a detailed overview of local conditions, ranging from Vietnamese agriculture and the environment to food culture, making for a highly meaningful event. It was a testament to the calibre of the second-year Master’s students. For the new students, it also served as an excellent opportunity to learn about the fieldwork programme in advance.
