Mr. Takamitsu Ohigashi (3rd year Ph.D. student, Laboratory of Environmental Biogeochemistry) received the Best Poster Award at the 36th Annual Meeting of the Japanese Society of Microbial Ecology, Hamamatsu, Japan. Mr. Ohigashi presented a poster titled “Impacts of earthworm invasion on activities of soil nitrification in a northern hardwood forest in Minnesota, USA.” The presentation’s main focus was on the results of joint research with the University of Minnesota.
